A simple girl with an extraordinary dream. After listening to the radio on a winter morning, an average elementary student with closed eyes, and folded hands, made a wish. A wish that was bound to come true when she had least expected it. Fast-forward twenty years later, that same little girl now existed inside the woman who stood upon an empty stage. Still carrying the same dream and the same heart.

Her name was BoA.

At a time, many thought that being thrown into the Entertainment Industry at such a young and tender age would scar a girl like her. But with the help of determination, and a team of excellent trainers, BoA set out to become one of Asia's next pop idol. And somewhere along the way, she grasped the meaning of having "tough skin without the bumps." To everyone else -- her life was full of exciting possiblities, nailing one sold-out show after another from the very beginning of her career.

Yet people failed to see the loneliness that came hand-in-hand with being under the spotlight. Nevertheless, she became her own teacher and learned how to be strong in ways that couldn't be easily detected, keeping one smile for the camera -- and another for herself. The transition to womanhood wasn't easy, and at times, it seemed as though she had barely taken that road given her personality. Quite the opposite, really. BoA had become level-headed and goal-oriented over the years, often forgetting her age and the leisure which others knew so well. But slowly, piece by piece, she's starting to gain a sense of life in the eyes of just another twenty year old.
